As the area is still under construction, there isn’t any definitive parking for visitors. There are parking lots in Dubai Hills Mall and the areas near the apartment buildings. Parking in Dubai Hills Estate includes covered spaces in apartment blocks, townhouses and villas.

METRO STATIONS NEAR DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
To catch a metro, one has to travel to Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), which takes a drive of about 20 minutes. Equiti Metro Station and Mall of the Emirates Metro Stations are the nearest subway junctions available via Um Suqeim Street (D63).
BUS STATIONS NEAR DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
Since Dubai Hills Estate is a developing area, it does not have a bus station. Residents who commute via public transport must travel to the Al Barsha community to catch Bus F36. It will not take more than 10 minutes to reach Al Barsha, even if one resides in the most distant segment of Dubai Hills Estate.
SUPERMARKETS IN DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
One of the prominent supermarkets in Dubai Hills Estates is Géant Hypermarket, located on the ground floor of Dubai Hills Mall. Residents will find various consumable items here, as well as electronics and home accessories. One can also head to many supermarkets in the neighboring communities to shop from the best supermarkets in Dubai. These include West Zone Fresh Supermarket, Aswaaq Supermarket, and Carrefour City.
CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
The main community mosque in Dubai Hills Estate is under construction and is expected to open soon for the public. Till then, residents have to travel to neighbouring areas to find mosques. Some of the mosques located nearby are:
- Al Anbiya Masjid
- Ebad Al Rahman Masjid
- Masjid Ummul Muminin Khadijah Bint Khowailed
Christians living in the area must travel towards Dubai Internet City to attend the nearest church, Fellowship Dubai. It takes a drive of about 20 minutes via Umm Suqeim Street (D63). Residents can also consider going to the church complex in Jebel Ali Village. Some of the churches one will find there are:
- St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church
- Mor Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Cathedral
- Saint Mina Church (Egyptian Coptic Orthodox Church)
It is a 30-minute drive to Shiva and Krishna temples in Bur Dubai. There is also the Sikh Gurudwara and the Sindhi Gurdarbar located in the same area. At the same distance of 30 minutes lies the ISO-certified Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Gurudwara in Jebel Ali.
SCHOOLS IN DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
Dubai Hills Estate residents do not need to worry about enrolling their children in the best nurseries in Dubai, as Blossom Nursery serves the area. There are two branches of Blossom Nursery in Dubai Hills Estate, one is in Park Heights, while the other is located adjacent to Club Villas.
There are three schools part of the community, named:
- GEMS International School
- GEMS Wellington Academy
- GEMS New Millennium School
GEMS Wellington Academy follows the British curriculum from the foundation stage (FS1) until the final Year 13. The nearby GEMS International School offers the IB curriculum to students from pre-primary to Year 12. Those looking for the CBSE Indian curriculum can look at GEMS New Millennium School, which caters to students from KG1 to Year 9.
Also, many other schools are in proximity, based in Al Barsha and Barsha South, including the American School of Creative Science, Kings School and Dubai Heights Academy.
Located around 20 minutes away is Knowledge Park, known to be an educational hub and houses many universities and institutes. Notable options include the University of Bradford Dubai, the University of Wollongong Dubai and Middlesex University Dubai.
HOSPITALS AND CLINICS IN DUBAI HILLS ESTATE
There is a hospital in Dubai Hills Estate, King’s College Hospital London, located just outside the community entrance. It is a new healthcare option which opened its doors in 2019 specifically for the residents of Dubai Hills. It is a large 100-bed facility, has a surgical unit and specialises in paediatric orthopaedic cases and features the best of British healthcare.
There is also the Mediclinic Park View Hospital located on Umm Suqeium Street (D63), Al Zahra Hospital and Saudi German Hospital, both located in Al Barsha. Multiple branches of Aster Clinic can be found around the community and many major pharmacies are in the neighbouring areas.
NEARBY AREAS
One of Dubai Hills Estate’s key factors is its location. It is close to other Emaar communities such as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina and Emirates Hills. It neighbours Barsha South on the west and Al Quoz 2 on the east. The Meydan City area and Arabian Ranches communities are also easily reachable from Dubai Hills.
Once the off-plan projects are completed, Dubai Hills Estate definitely will become a key area in Dubai to live, work and play in.
LIFESTYLE
